J-N Development Consulting LLC (“JN”) provides skillful leadership through the development and construction process. For property owners, tenants and developers, JN provides the outsourced experience and expertise needed to manage all phases of an asset’s development (design, construction and financing). Furthermore, contractors assistance is available for estimating, buy-out, scheduling and full project management.
At the core of everything we do is a commitment to relationship, stewardship, sustainability and teamwork. We believe that a great project is achieved when vision, collaboration and hard work synchronize. Our mission is to be the catalyst that drives great project development for our clients.
Jerry L Jackson, PE, LEED AP – President and Owner
Prior to forming JN, Jerry spent the past 35 years developing projects on behalf of leading developers including Provident Realty Advisors, Colonial Properties Trust, Harwood International, The Mills Corporation, and United Development Corporation, both domestically and internationally. His experience covers a wide spectrum of asset classes, including: multi-family, mixed-use, retail, office, industrial, healthcare, heavy civil, marine, and single family.

Jerry’s diversified experience allows him to add value in real estate development, construction management, cost estimating, lending coordination, entitlements and forensic engineering.
Jerry received a Civil Engineering degree specializing in structural and geotechnical engineering in 1981 from Texas Tech University. He went on to receive his professional engineering license in 1985 in the State of Texas and later earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) designation in 2009. With his wife of over 38 years, they enjoy spending their time with their three sons, their wives and their 5 grandchildren.
J-N Development Consulting is a family affair. J-N Construction Co., Inc., was started by Jerry’s father, Gene Jackson in 1965, and for multiple decades built critical civil engineering infrastructure projects in the North Texas region.
